First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit! A better one for 2009!

Good morning.  You remember the $7,500 tax credit that expired in 2008?

Well, we now have a better one for 2009.  This tax credit is for first time home buyers only to get the market started again.  This tax credit, unlike the last one, does not have to be repaid.  It is equal to 10% of the home's purchase price up to a maximum of $8,000.  It is for homes purchased during the calendar year 2009.  Single taxpayers up to $75,000 income qualify and married couples up to $150,000 qualify.  What a way to get the market moving!  Let's go and buy a house!
